| Journal: [link] Cheesey's Stud Farm is located in the deep alpine region of eastern Victoria. Though normally filled with beautiful flowers and trees, this season we're experiencing some snowfall. The paddocks are blanketed in the white stuff and the horses are quite curious as to what this new subject may be. CSF also serves as a lost-and-found shelter, taking in animals that have lost their way in the bushland (or in this case, snowland). We have a Vet on site who treats the lost animal and we have staff who attempt to find the owners. If the owner cannot be found we adopt the critter. We NEVER put an animal to sleep if it is unnessecary, due to this Cheesey has adopted the nickname "Crazy Animal Lady". The farm also stands as a "cattery" for horses, taking in people's horses if they plan to take a holiday and cannot look after them. CSF is famous for it's beautiful blossom-filled fields in the spring. |
